This interactive artwork will be posted on Emil Cañita’s instagram stories (@babydilf) on the 26 October, 2 November, 9 November & 16 November.
"This artwork is a time-based interactive piece that will be uploaded via my instagram account (@babydilf). Viewers are invited to interact and explore the feelings that they navigate to access their needs/wants at a time when global pandemic asks us to practice self-control.
In this work I talk to my own personal struggles looking for intimacy at a time when I newly moved into a city that has gone on lockdown. Through this work, I hope to provide some insight and nuance on people’s motivations, priorities and what constitutes as health and wellbeing, where current policies against the pandemic has overshadowed and perhaps not taken into account people’s emotional wellbeing."
